if it opened the throttle it would increase the rps at idle so obviously that is wrong. It moves the shift points higher. I also remember seeing somewhere that it increased the tps voltage by .5 volts, so the ecu would think you were more into the gas and bump everything up a bit.Basiclly it just adds more adreneline to the driver!!!!!
