Hey everyone,

I had posted a message that my A/C had failed for the third time and the dealer had replaced the shreader valve.

I took the car back again and it turns out they had to re-replace the shreader valve as the last one was installed poorly and they apparently tore the seals/o-rings around the valve. All the refrigerant leaked out again, and as such, it had to be recharged again. They apologized for the error and didn't charge me for the repair. There were no failures of any major components, so that was a very good sign.

Hopefully I won't have any more A/C issues for a while.

What was very interesting was that with my extended warranty, Saab/GM insists on Enterprise giving me a GM car...and the only car they had was a 4 door Chevy Silverado pick up! Talk about the polar opposite of a nice sporty Euro wagon...took a little getting used to!
