I checked the boards for this similar situation but not sure if it's the baffle or more of an electronic issue. It's a 2003 V6.
Fuel gague will periodically read incorrect after I put gas in, either full tank or a decent amount. Car had origional fuel pump and I purchased a used unit from Goldwing with 32k on it. Mechanic used the "arm" from the previous pump on the Goldwing unit as the used unit didn't come with one.
But I am still having the same issue. Will fill and top off and periodically the gague reads between 1/2 and 3/4. Go about 100 miles and gague goes up between 3/4 and full. Or it sits at full for 200 miles then goes significanly down. Did have one situation where I ran out of gas as gague never went in red area and SID showed 85 miles.
Appreciate any thoughts on if its the baffle or something else.
