In these discussions around V6 vs V4 there is alot of talk about the V6 not being as responsive or snappy as the 4, but no one has addressed the reality of the vehicles use and paired it with the engine.
In other words...
I am interested in the 9-5 because it has more (not much i know) cabin room. I can put three other adults in it and everyone will have some room to breathe. And with 4 adults, i cannot see the V4 (sport tunned or not) hauling that weight as efficiently or as sporty as the V6. Can anyone tell me I am wrong in this thinking?
I understand Saab has figured out how to tune a V4 to the max to haul around the car's weight and that of the driver, but what happens to the 4 and 6 performance wise when the car is full? This is the realistic difference to me between these two engines.
