2001 Saab95 Aero
Hello all
I was getting ACC code 13,14 six months ago and I never repaired anything.
Today I pulled all panels and glove box from under the dash.
Now I am getting code 8 and 14 !!
I started digging around and I found a few things.
Right side(passenger side) all Blend door shafts looked good and moved as planned(picture #4 and #5). Lower Stepper motor was turning, upper Stepper motor was not.
(picture #2) Fixed it thanks to dmz789abc post(http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=152914).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now........left side (Drivers side) I guess code 8 I am a little confused
because the Blend door shaft looks good and Stepper motor is turning.
BUT I pulled the rug out on the left side below the Blend door shaft and Stepper motor and I found a white cap/shaft missing please see picture #1 and #8
Does anyone know what this is?(white cap missing)
I drove the car for 4 years with no acc problems when I pulled the rug out I could not find the missing white cap anywhere it looks like I bought this car with that cap missing ? Strange?
I am putting everything back right now and keeping my fingers crossed
Very tough job for a 6'-1" 220 pounds man I am not as flexible as I use to be.
All pictures http://pages.cthome.net/gabe/saab95/index.html
Thanks
Gabriel
