i recently purchased a 1999 9-5 and have loved the car! but have run into a few "issues" which i'm told are common for this model and was wondering if there's anything i can do to fix them without spending lots o cash?
first and foremost my heater seems to have stopped working (can hear it tryin to work but no dice (actually all climate functions no ac either)this is a big deal since i live in buffalo and no defrost means a painful death on the road because of the 7 inches of ice that form inside the windshield(at least i'd be sooo cold i wouldn't feel it!)
second: the info display is so screwed up i cant read anything it says
third the radio will sometimes stay on even after pullin out the key and that can't be good... sometimes the power locks wont unlock unless the button is pressed multiple times and the rearview mirrors won't move up. down is fine, side to side work just great but no up (drives me crazy)! and lastly (this just happened) loud clunk from inside door now drivers side window will not move (but it grinds and screaches a hell of a lot)now aside from a total electrical meltdown (likely) any ideas? I do love this car its comfortable pretty quick and looks great! just seems elecrically dooooomed!
