Ok, so I just installed the polyurethane transmission mount I bought online from taliaferro, and honestly, it was one of the easiest jobs I've ever done(at least the way I did it). Easier than changing the oil. I've done air filters that were tougher.
I'll post pictures eventually, but basically you jack the car up (or use ramps), undo the bolt on the mount, but you can't slide it out all the way 'cause it's too long and hits the transmission. So the bracket that holds it above has 3 bolts (I think all bolts involved are 16mm... I didn't have one so I used a 5/8" or something). Undo TWO of them, loosen the third, and just twist it so you can slide the long bolt out. Pull the torque rod thingy down, punch the old one out (easy cause it's so small) and slide the new one in. Tighten all the bolts back in and you are done! Huge difference in just the appearance! Nice improvement in driving. I noticed NO increase in vibration at idle (tho I do have a short belt). The drivetrain is much smoother when going on and off the throttle, and the shifter slides into the gears a tiny bit easier.
Oh, and one more thing. Do it on a cold engine, or else watch out for the exhaust piping!!
Difficulty: 2/10 Performance improvement: 3/10
Value: 9/10 Self-satisfaction, job well done: 10/10
