Hello, I took my car to the local Saab dealership for a continuing problem with the left high beam. They have already charged me for fixing a short and replacing a fuse. That cost me $102. Now they have it again, same problem. They say it keeps blowing fuses because the ignitor is bad. Then they say also that there are 3 wires exposed that are touching causing a short and need to be fixed. The price for this is $540. What the heck are they trying to do to me. Then I asked them to check for an oil leak. They say that the timing chain cover is leaking oil and the front seal is bad. Parts $60 labor $900. $960 WOW. It got even worse. $240 to fix the right fog light which is missing the guts. This dealer is new to Saab and I do not know that they no what they are talking about. A couple of weeks ago they had it for a sun roof leak. They said 2 techs checked it and it needed a new sunroof. They said the seal was bad. I got mad and took the car back to Atlanta where I bought it and the dealer spent 2 hours fixing the pinched front drainline and cleaning the other drains. No leaks now. Can someone shine some light on these problems. I am trying to figure If I should take the car somewhere else or are these prices normal for these repairs. I have to let them know in the morning so would appreciate some input. Thank you, Kim
