tripped limp once in four days, car would crank but not start after I would drive it about 20 miles or so....only on longer drives....going to try and return the new di to sewell i bought it wedensday and only started the car once....so we will see.

But I noticed two small wires that were nicked, or chewed, blue and yellow, grey and red, not touching but they were nicked I taped it up...wondering if that could have caused the problem even though they were not touching do to heat and air moisture, would they arc across or to the block still? is that pretty high voltage wire? *going to shrink wrap them tomorrow.

Just curious if that would have caused it or do i still need to dig deeper? hoping the car starts fine from now on. Why did limp trip the first day though too? every once in a while I will drive and the car base boosts untill I restart it, then it boosts fine, is that part of the limp trip, should I get a throttle body to fix that if they take the di cassette back?

Also is there a way to put a timer on the electric fan to make it run for like 5 minutes after I kill it? wondering, its alot hotter down here in texas and I figure it would help keep my DI young lol. and my turbo for that matter.
