I payed about 1200 euros for the valve body, but the price should be much bigger.I said 'don't get angry' because i'm not sure you are facing with the same problem! So,i don't want to bring you down and finally things would not be that bad.All the best i wish, anyway.
Dear Walter, i think this is not too bad for your situation, when you go from park to reverse there are two moves to be done:1st, is the move you make with your hand(from P to R or D)2nd is the electronic move the gearbox makes to go from P to R.If there is no good timing in those two moves, then knocking can occur. If you select after P the N for one second, normally knocking should disappear. At least this is what happened to me!And, it' not difficult to be fixed.
Take care!
Nikos
