If its the original siren module from '02 the case is glued shut. But you can open it to replace the batteries. Then buy screws and RTV to seal and screw it back together. See the link on how I did it.
you tech II the alarm away altogether, or switch the "alarm device" from the siren to the horn. either way will bypass the siren module, and you wont have to deal with it.
