Some thoughts on ACC errors (longish)

Ok, so I've been having issues with code 22 popping up every morning (cold) right after startup (approx. 30 sec or so). The system goes into calibration and throws an error. Surprisingly, it never does it if you run calibration/diagnostics manually. Kermit (on "the other" saab board) suggested that this, as many other weird 9-5 quirks, could be due to weak battery. This morning interesting thing happened. As I started the car, and system went into calibration it threw 3 codes: 22, 8 (jammed driver mix door), 11 (jammed passenger mix door). Now I know that there is nothing wrong with my blend doors because:
- in the spring I upgraded both stop arms to aluminum ones
- shafts are fine
- temperature adjustment (hot/cold) for both zones works perfectly.
However, as the system went into calibration 30 secs after starting the car, the coolant was cold and there was no heat. So, my conclusion is that the system diagnoses errors 8 and/or 11 based on moving the blend door and analyzing the temperature with the mixed air sensors. Since the temp didn't change with, the system figured blend doors are not working. Diagnostics showed 0 later when the car was hot.
The bottom line I'm getting to here is that there is a possibility that your code 08 or 11 is not due to blend door, but malfunction of air mix sensor that gives constant temp value. This could probably help people who wonder why they get code 08 even if their blend doors work fine.
Just wanted to share.
