I have just recently had the wet floor problem too. In my case it was the right rear floor mat that got wet. I suspected the sun roof drains but I was wrong. Turned out to be plugged drain hoses for the AC. there are two drain hoses for the AC, both of mine were plugged. With the drain hoses are plugged, the AC unit housing filled up with water until the water drained into the molded plastic tube that delivers hot or cold air to the back seat area. This turned into a major job because the mechanic had to remove all the carpets and the padding under the carpets in order to dry them out. Once this was done, it became obvious that all the pads for both the front and rear carpets were completely soaked, even though the wet floor was only obvious in the right rear area. The test is certainly easy enough, start your car, run the AC, is water coming out of two drain hoses which are strangely located in roughly the center of the carpet area for both front seats? Each of these hoses is about 3 feet long! They are located under both the carpet the the sound absorber pads. Those pads can retain a tremendous about of water and they will never dry out if left in place Have you changed your air filter for the passenger compartment area recently? I had and it was really a dirty mess. I thought I had vacuumed all of the crude out of the AC unit before putting in the new filter but it is now obvious that I didn't get all of the dirt out. Most likely that dirt is what plugged the hoses. I have owned this car for 3 years and this is the first time I had replaced the filter. My fault. The Saab mechanic used a small wire snaked up through the drain holes from below to cleam them out. He had to do it more then once to get all the dirt and leaves out of there. It now works great and everything has remained dry. He said he got "Several gallons of water" out the car, once the seats, carpets and sound absorber pads were removed. It took over a week for those pads to dry out even though he had them laying out in the sunshine and he had also wrung water out of them several times each day. If the pads had not been completely dried out, can you imagine the moldy mess that would have happened? Since it was fixed promptly, there was no mold. I'm really impressed with how well undercoated the inside of the car was. Not a spec of rust anywhere in spite of all the water.
