Like Bryce has stated, I can confirm that the 9-5 with the Gislaved 16 inch snows is fantastic in snow. If the car can't go, you don't want to go there! Had similar success with my previous 9000 Aero, only with 15 inch snows. Gislaved snows are quieter than stock Michelins that came with car. Many Saab dealers offer as package with Alloy wheels, mounted and balanced, for around 700-800, which is excellent considering the replacement cost of alloy wheels. I live in NH, and get to use this tire set four months per year. They have never let me down.
