Temp gauge and ACC codes 21 and 22

Hi,

2001 95 Aero
105,000 miles

Outside temperature ~ 80F. ACC set to 68F. Everything was great. All of a sudden:

1.) Humid air from the ACC vents
2.) No reading from the dash temperature gauge

I am not sure if the temperature gauge bottomed out as the humid air started. The temperature guage had read low once before about a year ago. Did this only once. Seems to have been working OK after the single incident. Never had it serviced.

Pressed Auto+OFF on the ACC panel. Got codes 21 and 22. I did a search on the board and read that 21 is related to a problem with the motor contolling recirculation (flaps??). 22 is related to corrupted software.

Anyone know if the temp gauge problem is somehow related to the 21 and 22 codes? Is the gauge problem becuase of the temperature sensor? What is involved in fixing 21 and 22?
