I have seen many posts concerning alignment problems. I am getting new shoes for my 2002 arc so I started checking things out. I spoke with a mechanic that said the negative camber problem is caused by a failure of a suspension link. (He may have been more specific, but I may have missed it) He commented that saab would want the owner to replace the $500 link rather than sell inexpensive shims.
I suppose that could be, but my thought was if my car had this negative camber problem wouldn't I want saab to replace this link before the car leaves warranty? Wouldn't replacing the link be the safest course?
