Stock size for non-Aero is 215/55-16. But that's only about "1 mph" taller than your 17s. The 215/60-16 you suggest would pretty much correct the speedo, at the expense of less sharp handling and bonus of a smoother ride on winter bumps. My LPT has Aero suspension and it LOOKS like there is plenty of room for the slightly larger tire.
I haven't tried any of the suggested tires, although I'm sure they would all do a fine job. Not sure what your winter weather is like. Around here (Winnipeg, Canada) it's so cold that we don't get too much snow, often the winter road is nearly clear but icy.
I've been happy for 5 years with Nokian NRW 195/65-15 as my winter tires. Just replaced with Nokian WR in the same size. I get pretty-darn-good winter performance but I don't feel like I'm abusing the tires if it warms up or the roads are clear. I use them 5-6 months of the year.
15s won't fit your Aero though.
