My '01 SE is actually in the shop right now having the turbo rebuilt. I guess I got a little luckier than you though, I (and the previous owner of course) squeaked 172k miles out of mine. For the V6 there's pretty much nothing you can do to put a different or more powerful turbo on. The V6 turbo is built into the exhaust manifold so you'd have to do some pretty serious adaptations, and even if you pulled that off the engine can't really take much more boost than it has now. Is yours a full-time mosquito fogger? Mine was just after hard acceleration. If yours is full-time don't drive it! That means it's dumping raw oil into the exhaust and you'll have lots more expensive problems, like the catalytic converter. I can't say much for Eriksson Industries. My indy said he was going to rebuild it if it just needed seals but if it needed to be re-balanced he would send it out. I don't really know where he would send it out to though.
