Make a trip to a local Radio Shack to buy some fine gage electronics solder for use on printed circuit boards, and a "solder sucker". An inexpensive one will look like a rubber bulb with a temperature resistant nylon tip.
I was lucky in that my oldest son left all his college EE stuff in our basement while at Law School. Low wattage soldering iron, "solder sucker", solder braid (another removal tool), fine gage electronics solder, etc., were all mine for free use!
