I called SAAB customer service this morning (3-way calling, customer service, dealer and me), and got something clarified although not sure what's gonna happen next.
1) there is no TSB on the steering click on this car. Neither the customer nor the dealer is able to find any open call on this issue. There may be TSB from GM on some certain ones (some chevys, some saab convertables couple years ago), but nothing from SAAB on this car.
2) The customer agrees that if nothing broken, just lube needed, it is not covered by warranty; neither is the alignment.
3) the 30-day policy is from dealer, not from CPO. This is for used cars, no matter it is a CPO or not. This should be case by case. Different dealer might have different policy.
4) the dealer admitted they DID NOT NOTICE the car was purchased within 30 days. Now they agree to bring the car back for a check. The service manager will sit with me to test drive the car, then see what they can do.
5) Nothing is guranteed from the dealer to fix these two problems. They'll just try their best to satisfy me. Typical words from dealer.
6) Although this is an annoying and time-consuming experience, this won't prevent me from loving the new car. After all, this is a useful experience on how to deal with the dealers, although I really don't want to.
