for 950 bucks you can get a full 3" down pipe, cat, and cat back system. then for another (i think it ended up being 75 bucks) get it put in properly, welded together, did mine at meiniky (sp) they did a great job, and were fairly quick with the job. being that your car has so many miles on it, it might not be a bad idea to replace the cat. but if you just want a cat back done with a generic muffler, then they said they could do it for about 200-250 bucks, i don't know where your indi is getting 950 from, what is he including in that? the cat/downpipe too? it would be appropriate for that amount, but if it is just a cat back, it would have to be made of pure silver....
