1. Check the coolant level after the car has cooled overnight. Top off as needed.
2. Air in the cooling system is common after the coolant has been changed. It usually works it way out over a couple of hundred miles.
3. If the above steps don't solve the problem you may have a thermostat that's binding. Replace it and give the system a good flush.
4. If none of the above remedies the problem.... first, you should determine whether you really have an overheating problem. If so, there really isn't much left; I had a 9000 with the same symptoms. Replacement of the radiator solved the problem....it was clogged up.
