Short term snow tire mismatch

For years I've been religious about running identical tires on all four corners of (all my many) Saabs. Last week, an unfortunate encounter with construction debris cost me one of my 4 Gislaved Nordfrost II snow tires. The tires are several years old, but have roughly 75% of the tread life left. Worse, Gislaveds are no longer available in my market space...
The current snows are Nordfrost II R215/55 16; I've been able to locate a single Gislaved Nordfrost III in R205/55 16, with the same amount of tread wear (i.e. 75% remaining). By my calculations, this means that the Nordfrost III is 0.43 smaller in diameter, a 1.74% difference.
Ultimately, I have long since planned to replace the Gislaveds with Nokians (which have recently become availably in my market space (Northern NJ)), but I'd *really* rather not have to do so right now, since I will be leaving the country for an extended period (2 months) shortly after the first of the year.
My question is as follows: Do I risk damage to my 2004 SAAB 9-5 Aero by making this temporary replacement (NB: The 'odd-man-out' tire will go on the rear axle, *not* the front axle)? I recognize that driving in a somewhat more sedate fashion than is typical in an Aero would certainly be prudent.... =-) Any information/clarification you all could provide would be greatly appreciated...
