I put that size snow tire on my 02 9-5 (stock 17in rims) but used the viking rims from a 97 900
the fit fine and the speedo reading is more accurate (according to my GPS) than it was with the worn down 225-45-17 tires that i had on there this summer.
I know you can have the dealer use Tech 2 to choose what size tire you have so that the speedo reading reflects that.
almost all cars handle differently with snow tires than summer tires. I wouldnt expect the snow tire performance to be as good as it is with summer tires, but the 215-55-16s on my aero arent all that bad.
