the lights you are talking about are in the SID. yes you can easily replace them. pop out the SID (butter knife, gently, dont scratch). The light bulbs are available from the site sponsors or your favorite dealer. Look at the back of the SID, they are recessed in little holes. They have a round white base with a slot for a flathead screwdriver. Give them a quarter turn and they will fall out when you tip the SID.
Winter mode button: can't say for sure but I would spray it with electrical contact cleaner.
