I too am partial to Michelin.
I have 4 Michelin Exalto A/S on my wife's car. They're quiet and they perform well....and like all Michelin's they wear and wear.
For reasons that are somewhat complicated I had Perelli P-Zeros on my new 9-5 Aero. They are 70% worn (from their earlier life on my 2000 9-5) and very noisy. I put my snow tires (Michelin Alpine's) on a couple of days ago; the Perelli's will be replaced in the spring with Michelin Exalto either A/S or PS2's. Never again will I stray from Michelin.
And yes, some may disagree, and some may suspect that I'm biased (they're right).
By tghe way....the Michelin Alpine snows that are on the car now are whisper quiet...and are on their 3rd season of use.
