Thanks, Mike! This answers most of my questions. We have found a couple of likely prospects, both Linears, one with 29K and one with 24K, both 2004. I have thus far seen the Carfax on the 29K car, sold at auction in October after 3 years lease with one owner. Waiting for the Iris on that one, but warranty goes till end of August '08. Asking 16K, which sounds high to me, despite offer to throw in Saab in-warranty 30K service without any prompting as of yet.
The other one has only 24K, don't know anything else yet, but the asking price is only 12.5K - which sounds a bit low, if anything.
Both cars at indy used car dealerships, so no hope of getting a CPO on either, if I understand the procedure correctly.
I drive a 9-5 Aero sedan, so I guess I'm an Aero kind of person. The wagon will be my wife's car, and she enjoyed all of the extra stuff on her '00 wagon: ventilated & heated seats, heated rear seat, upgraded HK stereo, etc. I dunno what's on either of these Linears yet, but should know more tomorrow. It's a shame that these low-mileage cars can't be CPO'd somehow...
