I've used Winterforce for several winters now. Plenty of tread left and I too live in CT and the handling was great on Thursday. Now if it weren't for all the other yahoos out on the road getting stuck and sliding all over the place, I would have actually enjoyed the snowstorm.

Several local tire shops I have been too said the Winterforce is kind of a secret. Meaning that most folks go for the much more expensive name brands, thinking that because of the lower cost, Winterforce tires are not as good. Thing is that they are made by Firestone/Bridgstone and are just as good as the Blizzaks.

Sometimes cheap tires do equal poor tires, but Winterforce in my opinion are an exception.
