I've tried several Saab shops in Northern / Central NJ (but not Percision) NYC and Brooklyn with my ng 90 and 9-5. I've used Precision twice, oil change the first time and later for a TB replacement/rad replacement. Although I never had a bad experence with Swedish Connection I never got a warm and fuzzy feeling from these guys and thought they were on the pricy side. Ron never was very good at giving information on what they did, etc.
I've been using Tubor at Swedich Car Service in Bound Brook for over a year and I'm very very happy. He's priced fairly, very honest, open late 6-6:30 PM, has Tech II, and walks you through the entire process. Only negetive is that you can not bring in parts but he give a 10% discout to Saab Club menbers.
For easy stuff (oil/brakes) I use Hoffmans Auto in Montclair (Erik) also very fair, priced well, knows Saab well, allows for your own parts, but does not have TechII.
I live in Montclair and work in NYC so Bound Brook is a bit of a hike. I usually drive down to Bound Brook in the early early AM, drop the car off before anyone gets in and walk to the train (less than 1 mile) and reverse on the way home.
Hope this helps
Doug
