Does the V6 have a Torque Rod? Posted by B Millar [Email] (#1109) [Profile/Gallery] (more from B Millar) on Thu, 10 Jan 2008 20:01:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I had my car in for the timing belt and tensioners yesterday and I asked my indy about a vibration at idle and up to about 2k rom. It's the V6 so it should be silk smooth. He checked the mounts and found the transmission mount under the battery to be shot. He showed it to me when I picked up the car, it was completely sheared in half. Anyway, I was surprised when I got back in the car that it still vibrates just as much as it did when I dropped it off. I've read posts about people replacing the torque rod mount on their 4-cyls after the one uner the battery, and have found a torque rod mount on eeuroparts for the V6, but the WIS says absolutely nothing about a torque rod on the V6. What gives?
