Late last year I had put slightly more aggressive tires (225/50ZR16 Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season) on my 2002 arc and the difference in road feel was apparent. The car felt like it was better connected to the road. Like the front end was suddenly a little wider. I did remove these tires because of comfort issues, they were a little too stiff and seemed to ride too harsh. The Bridgestone Turanza Serenity's (215/55HR-16) I installed next did not have this feel to them. The car now has a less harsh ride that does not seem unconnected, just a little less aggressive.
