You're in the right car. Posted by B Millar [Email] (#1109) [Profile/Gallery] (more from B Millar) on Sun, 20 Jan 2008 08:35:50 In Reply to: '00 Saab 9-5 ABS Module Symptoms, BGMike, Sun, 20 Jan 2008 04:29:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
If it's working fine now I wouldn't be too worried. There's really no way of predicting the life of the ABS module. If BBA said it looked fine maybe it just needed to be re-seated. The 9-5 isn't as reliable as an Accord or Camry, but it's not terrible. If you put that kind of mileage on a car you must be spending a lot of time in it and you want something that you can enjoy driving. I'd rather have something that I love to drive and have to keep up a little more with on maintenance than a Camry that will run forever with no maintenance (exaggeration) but is boring as hell to drive. Seeing as you've got the SE you've probably got the V6. Keep up with the timing belt and tensioners every 60k!
