The 2.3 litre engine in the 9-5's only requires 4 litres of oil. The 2.0 litre in the 9-3SS/SC/CV requires 6 litres. Buy synthetic oil, your turbo and oil screen will thank you.
Since it sounds as if you may be about to do your first D-I-Y oil change, you might want to buy an oversized oil filter too. Buy any quality filter specified for the Chrysler PT Cruiser Turbo 4-cylinder. The standard PT Cruiser uses the same small filter as our Saabs, the Turbo version uses a filter nearly twice as long.
