I presume you didn't buy it from a dealer? If you had, and you had not opened it, I'd return it.
Otherwise, if you bought it from an independent seller on an auction site or classified, you've probably nothing to lose to try it, so long as the connector aligns properly.
According to WIS, they both have a 22 pin connector, power, ground, P-bis and i-bus are all on the same pins, and all of the discrete inputs appear to be diode protected.
If it were me, I would give it a try. I don't seriously think it would damage anything.
But I can't tell you to do that...
