The yellow color is usually associated with the Mercedes coolant, or the generic G-06 coolant. I don't know if this is the same or similar formulation that Amsoil uses. The Mercedes and G-06 are NOT long-life coolants, like the orange is.
I don't think it is necessary to do a full flush if you're just replacing blue with yellow. They are usually compatible, and other than a slight "muddy" color, should work fine. OTOH, if you want it to look nice and pale yellow and get all remnants of blue out, a full flush is in order.
