Though it's an '03, the double DIN mounting is the same. I went a bit overboard but I'm in my car a lot for work. Like "fusionrx" said, find a good car audio install shop and they will have more options then you thought available. The built in amps are the tough part, if you leave them and the stock speakers, the sound will not be to your liking. Head unit and new speakers minimum for good sound. If you don't use OnStar, rip out the control unit under the rear deck and you have room for amps if you choose to go that route.
