I had to replace mine right after I bought the car last year (it had 79k on the clock). It takes 10 minutes, maximum per side to change the bulbs. You have to remove the box covering the battery on the driver's side, which takes all of 10 seconds. You have to remove one piece of flexible pipe on the passenger's side. You only have to do these things to get your hand in to the rear of the headlamp.
Unscrew the cap 1/4 turn, open up the metal spring clamp and the entire bulb pulls right out. Just be careful not to drop it, and life is good.
Very easy to do yourself.
