Remove the starter...generally required. It has been done without removing the starter if you have extraordinarily small hands or you if know a petite wrenching wench.
Actually you only need to move it out of the way to provide access to the switch.
1. Disconnect the negative lead from the battery.
2. Remove the big fat battery cable from the starter.
3. Remove the other wire from the starter; necessaary dependent upon 9-5 model year.
4. Remove the bottom starter retaining bolt.
5. Remove the top starter retaining bolt.....the starter can now be moved aside.
6. The switch can now be removed and replaced (available from eEuroparts with free shipping if you spend at least $39.00).
