See the attached link for the full listing of Dmitry's multitude of excellent photo illustrated D-I-Y Saab modifications and upgrades. I think the instruction set you want is listed in the Electrical section as "9-5 Line Input".
One word of caution here. Dmitry is far braver and more resourceful than most of us when working on his Saabs (open his 9-5 Rear Suspension instruction set for a photo of his home-made impact wrench! I love it!). His instruction set for the Line Input modification requires circuit board soldering inside the radio head unit.
