I had the same thing happen with my Die Hard. Had the battery die on a trip, so I went to Sears and waited an hour and more for them to put in a battery. I am sure they broke the case at the positive terminal......it leaked and ruined the cable within a few months.
I should have gone back to sears, but I had my indy do it and put in a new battery.
Next time I go to Pep boys and buy a wrench with the battery and install it in the parking lot....and do it right.
