Thanks for all the responses, I couldn't have done it without everybody's information! For makai-the batteries are inside the alarm siren itself, which is under the front driver's side fender liner. It is mounted by 2 screws and can be removed fairly easily. Also, SWEDECAR, I was looking at the WIS and could not find the menu to disable the "service theft alarm" message. Which menu is it under so I can tell my independent? He is not so good with all the programming stuff, just how to work under the hood! Thanks again for your help!
