Help identifying tubing near battery

I removed my ABS module today to send in for repair on my 2000 9-5. n doing so I noticed a thin black rubber tubing (diameter of a pen) running along next to the positive battery wire up to and tied to the fuse box that sits behind the battery. This end was not attached to anything so I'm afraid it pop off of something. The other end terminates about a foot or so below the battery and connects to the lower part of the engine (may be tranny?).
Any thoughts?
