Timing chain replaced

Thanks to all who provided input regards what to do with increasingly noisey timing chain, particularily Swedecar, his advice is the gold standard IMO. It didn't take but 3 weeks to go from 14mm to nearly 15mm on the tensioner . I sought as much input as possible from this board and local Saab shops, advice given ranged from $ 2k replacement of both chains and components to rolling in new chain.
I went with rolling in a new chain, not a difficult job save for not being able to find a chain break with the right size pin. I'd say the noise is 2/3 less than before, I do hear what is likely the balance chain but it is not loud.
I likely should have replaced the cam sprockets but I can do that pretty easily at a later time, might cut and remove the balance chain if the noise I hear builds. So the chain cost $ 44 , I also ordered a valve cover gasket $ 20 and upper chain guide, neither of which I bothered installing.
I'm hoping this repair holds up for 2 yrs/ 24 k more miles on this car.
I was able to do this job solo, managing to turn the crank shaft with one hand while the other hand helped feed the chain.
