The problem is on the air distribution of our '99 lpt.
I fixed the "no heat" on the driver's side with a new stop arm and shaft, but cannot change where the heat is sent to. No codes after calibration following the "no heat fix".
I pulled the stepper motor for the distribution flaps on the pass side, watched it run, gears properly meshed etc.
Moved the yellow control arm by hand with the blower running, but not able to divert the air to optional vents until I rotate the "wheel like" mechanism on the drivers side by hand, then air will divert to the different vents. The green bushing rotates with the "wheel" and seems solidly intact but there is a disconnect between the two sides.
Can this be fixed?
I've read many of the discussions on this site, but maybe not the right one.
