I put Koni shocks on the rear of my 01 95 Aero recently. Great improvement.
Here is the trick. You will see 2 grooves for the lower spring perch. The lower will give you less pre-load on the spring than stock. This will give you in all likelyhood bottoming with passengers in the rear seat. Move it up to the second groove and you get slightly more pre-load than stock, which is my car is what I am looking for.
I used the lower groove when first installed and that was a mistake. I had the original rear springs with 110,000 miles on them. If this is what you have, I highly recommend installing on the second groove.
I set the damping at the mid point. Nice and stiff.
this is a great upgrade.
