The part no. for the bumper cover is the same for 2003 and 2004. The Aero includes an extra spoiler that attaches to the bottom of the bumper cover.

Upgrading to the Aero style is doable, but you may want to consider other changes for the full Aero look. The Aero uses different springs to lower the car about 10mm. Tire width and height, and wheel width and height are different too. And, there are additional lower side body moldings. Changing/upgrading to the Aero look may involve a lot more that you're willing to take on.....read MONEY!

Finally, talk to a body shop about refinishing your current bumper cover; scratches are not automatically the kiss of death. Refinishing may be your best alternative of all; you owe it to your pocketbook to at least ask.

For the bumper cover, you could tackle this as a DIY project; however, you'll have to make arrangements to have the new bumper cover painted; the new cover comes unpainted (flat black that doesn't match any Saab color).

Two sources can be considered for the bumper cover....
1. Call eEuroparts and have them get it; this way you'll get the best price any dealer might give you.
2. Try Goldwing; they may have a salvage cover in good shape. With freakish luck you may even find one that's the right color! I've used them before; you can save 60%-90% versus new.
