Real quick question 2 actually.
1. brake booster will be here wed but my wife has to goto dallas wed. we have been driving it without brake assist and the pump fuse pulled to save the pump, but can I just cap the engine vacuum line going to the bad booster to prevent the engine rev no brake problem? It concerns me for heavy traffic because if you go to get on it and have to go back to brake real fast the pedal is rock hard and you have to realllllllly lay into it to stop where it is fine with no acceleration drawing a heavy vacuum. or should I just leave it alone till i can put the booster in?
2. the service theft alarm is coming on will it set off the immobilizer if I just pull the alarm siren to replace the batteries and still drive it without the siren for a day or two? REALLY don't have the money to tow and have a dealer redo the twice. Just curious thanks.
Just paid it off blues. lol brake booster is the first major thing I have had to do to this car since I got it with no miles to 132k now should be happy I guess.
