I took a good look at my 9-5 on the rack today and My first thought is the engine must come out from above. I would suspect the transmission should be unbolted at the Torque converter housing and backed away towards the left wheel to allow the engine to be hoisted from the top. I wouild say the left wheel liner should be removed but I don't think the suspension needs to be removed as in the 9000 cars. The support under the car is very different from the 9000 cars. It looks quite simple from the top but space is limited. The engine will need to be slid to the right and then up. The hood will need to be removed to allow enough vertical heighth to clear the front cowl holding the radiator and heat exchanger.
Good luck - this is going to be a project! If you don't mind me asking whay is the engine coming out?
