Is it throwing a CEL? With all that oil going through there I would suspect the cat took a hit, but if it's not throwing a code I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it is throwing a code, make sure you have it read and see what's going on. I went through this a couple years ago with my 2001 V6 after the DIC went which ruined the catalytic converter. With 160k miles at the time I was out of the 80k mile emission warranty. Eventually the recall came out and the cat was replaced under that but up to that point I was doing all sorts of research trying to find an aftermarket cat. I was told by numeral people (my indy, the dealership, even Midas) that aftermarkets don't work well in 9-5's. The emissions system with Trionic is so fussy that the aftermarkets throw codes. Something like they cool down enough when you're at a stop light to stop converting. You might just have to bite the bullet and pay the dealer. Sorry.
