2006 9-5: Oil changes and other basic questions

Traded in a '03 9-3 for a nice 2006 9-5 w/ the Nav. system. It's a great car w/ only 20k miles. It was serviced by the dealer in Charlotte, NC and I put new tires on it when I got it last month and I only wish my drive to work or back home was longer so I could enjoy it more. (10 minutes each way).
I've read the manuals trying to better understand some of the basics but I guess b/c my 9-5 has the Nav. system (and the manuals don't show anything about this) I am looking for a few answers to various things... here's one question:
On my 9-3 the SID had a nice function concerning oil life. It would show what percentage and estimate how many days before the oil needs changing. My 2006 9-5 doesn't have the same functions (I'm really not complaining, this 9-5 is a super upgrade to the 9-3) when scrolling through the SID on the dashboard... but reading the manual and online (https://owners.saabusa.com/) the oil next oil and filter change will be at 30k miles. Am I understanding this correctly?
